TITLE: Desolate Moon ARTIST: Victoria Ann Jongenburger Langley, BC PRICE: $2,800 DESCRIPTION:  I came across the story of Amber  a beautiful female wolf named for her incredible eye colour. She was fitted with a radio collar and became the longest transmitting wolf in Kootenay National Park. I thought this was a fitting tribute to a wolf who then disappeared - This is a layered glass panel depicting a long female wolf standing in a field under the moon. Overlays include shadowing of the moon and trees on the horizon. ARTIST's BIO: Victoria utilizes overlays, painting and a number of exciting and unusual techniques in her stained glass work. Her works are generous and inspired by our natural surroundings and the wildlife that moves through it  wildlife takes centre stage in an environment that brings you into their world. She does custom work in her Glass Roots Studio in Aldergrove, BC. Victoria s artwork has found homes in various public and private venues in British Columbia and the world.
