TITLE: Dinner Time ARTIST: Wendy Lamarche Delia, AB PRICE: $950 DESCRIPTION:  My husband and I were hiking in the Kootenays last year and upon arriving at a meadow with a mountain lake, we spied across the meadow this grizzly bear catching fish for his dinner ARTIST's BIO: Wendy grew up in Calgary and is the mother of 2 boys and a grandmother of 1. Wendy loves the mountains and spends a good deal of time hiking, camping and skiing. An avid Western Canadian, she has always vowed that she would never live anywhere else. She began working in stained glass with a gift of lessons from her parents in 1985. As a busy mother, she dabbled until 1997 when her children were older and left her more time to pursue her art. A two-year illness in 1999-2000 was a temporary setback but with renewed health came a zest for life, which is often portrayed in her work. Wendy returned to Delia in May of this year and hopes to spend her time doing stained glass, which has become her passion.
