We hope you and others will enjoy our portrayal of this pristine region. ARTIST's BIO: Irene and Jan have been good friends for 30 years. Irene does stained glass out of her studio in Lethbridge, Alberta and Jan works out of her studio near Coaldale, Alberta. Both are native Southern Albertans who share a love for stained glass. In this work, they depict a sunny day at Floe Lake before the forest fires of 2003. The piece captures the beauty and serenity of this majestic area using a copper foil method with stained glass and actual rock slices which have been sand blasted.
