DESCRIPTION: I marvel at the tenacity of growing things - their innate ability to find their niche and thrive in what seem like impossible places. These asters are depicted amongst the varied colours and textures of rock which are found along the riverbeds in the parks of Western Canada.
ARTIST'S BIO: Barbara received her formal training in the visual arts at the Alberta College of Art & Design in Calgary. Her works in painting, stained & fused glass, quilting, sculpture and jewellery have been featured in a number of exhibitions since 1980. Ms. Trudeau is an award-winning artist who works professionally in stained glass, designing and creating panels for architectural display.
