DESCRIPTION: Chickadees are my favourite birds. I love the way they talk to and call to each other. I wanted to create a vision of these wonderful birds in the glorious morning sun. The work is intended to display and welcome a new day with the cheery calling of the birds
ABOUT ARTIST: Elizabeth was born in Calgary and began exploring art at a very young age. She tried many artistic processes before finding that stained glass was the best medium to reflect her creativity. She believes that stained glass is a work of living art as it changes constantly with the light in its environment. It soon became her life and passion. Elizabeth has operated a stained glass store and studio in both Calgary and now in Bragg Creek at Suncatchers Design Studio. In the 27 years of creating stained glass, she has built hundreds of windows for homes and businesses. |
